Technical Artist (Full Time)

No Code are looking for a top-class Technical Artist to join our micro-team, working on a AAA project with some exciting new technology, as well as creative art on independent titles.

The ideal candidate would have experience in 3D tools, pipelines and support. Not only will you be helping solve artistic technical problems and developing new techniques, but also producing creative artwork across a number of smaller titles as a general 3D Artist. The best of both worlds – AAA dev in an independent setting.


Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the creative and technical teams working in and alongside No Code

  • Collaborating remotely with the technical team

  • Identifying and solving problems before they impact the dev teams

  • Investigating new ideas and techniques, improving pipelines and tools

  • Optimize content for memory and performance gains, without sacrificing quality

  • Creating great looking 3D Visuals for independent titles


  • Industry experience, preferably on multiple shipped titles

  • Highly proficient in 3DS Max, with applicable experience as a technical artist

  • Experience in MaxScript & Python

  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills

  • Unreal and Unity experience a huge plus


Programmer (FULL TIME)

No Code is ironically (but seriously) looking for a talented and experienced Programmer to join our micro-team, to work on exciting new technology in the AAA sector, as well as game play programming on independent titles.

This mixed role gives a great balance of industry-leading technical development, as well as creative game design and programming. The ideal candidate has a good general programming knowledge, preferably with physics programming experience. The best of both worlds. Be the coder at No Code!


Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate both with the internal development team, and also alongside our partners, developing cutting edge technology and middleware for a AAA title

  • Develop game play systems in both Unreal and Unity

  • Identify areas of improvement, and maintain and optimize existing code

  • Take ownership of tasks, and be the main point of contact for code development


  • At least 1 shipped title on Console or PC

  • Advanced C++ experience

  • Experience of C#, Unreal and Unity Development a big plus

  • Console and Mobile programming experience

  • Experience with other middleware systrems and integration





No Code are also looking for help in a few different areas, as and when the time comes. More urgently, we're looking for a contract 2D Artist / Concept Artist to work with on several of our independent projects. This post is not based in the office and can be done from home, however the candidate would be welcome to come join us at the studio whilst working on a project if they wish. We're looking for someone who can become a great partner, and that we build a relationship with over multiple projects as the work comes up.

The ideal candidate would have simply have a great portfolio, with a mix of character, environment and scene art. You will help create artwork for a variety of projects, from apps, games and board games. This is not concept art to inform a team, but artwork to go directly into the products as character portraits or scene panels, for example.
